This horn has been fully restored. It is a Conn Made Continental Colonial Alto. Made in the USA in 1950, this horn has all new pads, corks, felts, cleaned, lacquer chemically stripped off, action cleaned, lubed and regulated. Plays like a dream! Raw brass is starting to get a nice patina, will change and darken as you play it. A one of a kind horn with character to spare.

This saxophone is GORGEOUS! It has a pebble texture on the body and it is gold plated. The engraving area is polished gold plate and give it a striking look to it. Abolone key touches. The body is close to perfect. The keys have pits on the gold plating. Purely cosmetic. This sax plays great top to bottom. Comes with sax, neck, mouthpiece, ligature and case.

This LA SAX is absolutely gorgeous! Its diamond swirl finish is spectacular. Has a High G Key! Fantastic condition. Our service technician commented on how this sax feels heavier than other saxophones, so we put it on the scale. It weighs a whopping 6 pounds 13 ounces. To compare, we weighed a 1952 Martin alto and it came in at 5 pounds 4 ounces. One pound and 9 ounces heavier than the old Martin battle axe! Thicker brass, heavier mass, nicer sound and better quality. Near new, looks and plays amazingly. Includes sax, neck, mouthpeice, ligature and case.
