Jupiter Capital Edition

Description

The Capital Edition by Jupiter is a very well respected saxophone. They have a solid sterling silver neck which aids in its free blowing playablity and its warm sound. When this one came into our shop it was not in very good condition. It has a dent on the bell, several keys were bent and most of the pads were beyond use. We replaced all of the pads, cleaned and lubed the action and set up the horn and it is now ready for its first gig. We can repair almost any problem with saxophones, but we don’t do dent repair, so the dent remains (see pictures). It is purely cosmetic and is reflected it the price. This horn plays like a new horn is very hard tom put down.

Condition
We rate each horn’s condition. Any defects are noted here. Each criteria is on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being poor condition and 10 being perfect.

• Body (dents, deep scratches, etc.) – 8  dent on the bell
• Finish (lacquer, silver plate, paint, etc.) – 9 –
• Previous repairs (soldered posts, dent work, etc.) – 10 none noted
• Accessories (case, mouthpiece, etc.) – 9 
• Playability (leaks, sticky keys, etc.) – 10 – Fresh re-pad, lube and adjustment
